Lu Stazzu

On the 55 Km of Costa that today make up the Costa Smeralda there were only a few ‘stazzu’, the typical dwellings of the shepherds, scattered here and there, especially in the areas of Abbiadori, Monte Tundi and Liscia di Vacca. Each “stazzu” had its own piece of land planted with wheat and its vineyard. There were cows, goats, sheep, horses; it was practically cultivated for the needs of the family.

The last family to have lived here dates back to the late 50s.
